Connecting people to the land and the role of local agriculture in their lives. Set in a scenic valley in Keene, NH, Stonewall Farm consists of 130 acres of pastures, fields and woodlands. Open 365 days a year, we encourage visitors to meet our farm animals, witness the daily milking of our Holstein cows, or hike our trails. Stonewall Farm operates an education center, a dairy herd of 30 cows, a maple-sugaring operation, greenhouses, grows organic vegetables, and is home to numerous chickens, sheep, rabbits and other barnyard animals. Bike for Bovines 2nd Annual Mountain Bike Race To benefit Stonewall Farm's Educational Programs August 17, 2008 8am-3pm at Stonewall Farm 242 Chesterfield Road, Keene NH Beginner, Sport and Pro - Cash prizes for Pro racers With three categories of racers, an exciting race route and activities for the whole family, it promises to be a fun-filled event! One lap is approximately 10.6 miles of logging roads, single-track and downhill rides with approximately 2000 total feet of climbing. The course is one lap for Beginners, two for Sport and three for Pros. More information can be found at root66raceseries.com.
