Learn how to grow plants in small spaces in this “make & take” workshop series. Gain hands on experience in organic and regenerative gardening practices. All workshops will be on Saturdays from 10 am – 12 pm right here at the Farm. Participate in the full series, or pick and choose the ones that are right for you. We highly encourage you to take advantage of all 3 workshop sessions to develop a wide range of skills and build community with other gardeners. Each workshop session is a sliding scale of $0-20, or $0-50 for all 3. Sliding scale options made possible by the Rashti Foundation. As a participant, you will have access to a Facebook page to ask questions, view additional resources, and share garden updates!

June 29How to Groom and Bloom! The growing season has started – what now? Did you choose the right pot, seeds, soil and space in your house? Learn all of these skills plus organic methods for fertilization, pest management, trimming and harvesting practices. Leave with some organic fertilizer and shears to get your garden ready!

August 10Use Your Garden Goodies! Fresh food galore! Learn how to use what you have grown in some basic garden recipes. Leave with a recipe book to use at home.

September TBD It’s Seed Saving Season! Want to be a savvy seed saver? Learn how to prepare your garden for the winter! This includes seed and soil saving and overwintering your crops. Leave with some seeds of your own to use next year!
