Culinary Workshop: Chicken Curry with Sweet Potatoes

Participants will enjoy two dishes while Shree demonstrates how to cook them. The first meal is a chicken curry with sweet potatoes in coconut milk using cardamom, ginger, garlic, and spices. A second meal, Dal with Spinach, consists of lentils cooked with spinach, ginger, and spices served over basmati rice. Vegetables from the farm will be incorporated into the meal.

Registration is per session. The cost to register is $60.

About the Instructor:  Sri from Shree’s Kitchen will be teaching farm to table culinary classes focusing on Indian cuisine throughout the seasons. She will be cooking with seasonal ingredients from the farm. Sri is the owner of Shree’s Kitchen, and she creates authentic homemade Indian cuisine using a wide variety of spices. Indian cuisine has a wide range of vegetarian, vegan and meat dishes that vary from region to region. They are prepared using different cooking techniques.
