Culinary Workshop: Palak Paneer

February 27th from 6:30 to 9 PM.

Participants will enjoy a meal while Shree will provide a demonstration on how to make Indian Cheese (paneer). The cheese will be used to create a curry in creamy spinach sauce with ginger, turmeric and spices served over a fragrant bed of cumin basmati rice. The cheese will be made using milk from Stonewall Farm’s organic dairy herd and the spinach will be harvested from our greenhouses prior to the class.

Registration is per session. The cost to register is $55.

About the Instructor:  Sri from Shree’s Kitchen will be teaching farm to table culinary classes focusing on Indian cuisine throughout the seasons. She will be cooking with seasonal ingredients from the farm. Sri is the owner of Shree’s Kitchen, and she creates authentic homemade Indian cuisine using a wide variety of spices. Indian cuisine has a wide range of vegetarian, vegan and meat dishes that vary from region to region. They are prepared using different cooking techniques. Shree’s Kitchen brings you the most popular dishes from South India like idli, sambar, vada, paserattu, upma and North Indian flavors like palak paneer, aloo paratha, pav baji and many more mouth-watering dishes.
