Dairy can be part of the solution to sustainably feed the world. There is much confusion about animal agriculture these days, especially cattle. On this tour, we will show how our regenerative dairy farm helps create nutrient-dense food, humane care of our animals and improves ecosystem processes on our land. These farms are also a keystone in maintaining the cultural and ecological landscape of our rural communities. On this tour, we will discuss holistic planned grazing and our partnership with the Savory Institute
Come and join us on a tour of our beautiful dairy farm and meet the cows, as well as all our other farm animals. On this tour, you will get to learn about the life of a dairy cow from when she is born right up to when she begins producing delicious, organic milk. You will see where milking takes place and where the milk goes before it is processed, as well as a tour of our creamery and a taste of our very own ice cream, made on site. We will share how we keep our our cows healthy and happy, including our grazing program. As a HUB with the Savory Institute we teach and demonstrative Holistic Management and adaptive multi-paddock grazing. Our next stop will be a quick visit with our Belgian draft horse Jack and then onto our goats, across the road. To end off, we will take a short stroll to the market garden and see where our organic veggies are grown, as well as where one can hit the rail trail for a scenic route that can take you all the way into downtown Keene. There are plenty of great photo opportunities around the farm and we will be very willing to take your pictures for you.
