The fall is the perfect time to plant bulbs for a beautiful spring display! In this hands-on 2-hour workshop, learn how to select, plant, and care for spring-flowering bulbs, and get them in the ground before winter.
We’ll cover bulb selection, planting depth and spacing, site preparation, soil conditions, fall planting timing, and strategies for protecting bulbs from pests and winter weather. Participants will get hands-on practice planting a variety of bulbs and learn how to incorporate bulbs into perennial beds, garden borders, and other growing spaces.
Come prepared to get your hands in the soil, and leave with a few bulbs of your own to plant at home!
