Geared toward the general public, homeowner, or farmer, our pasture walks provide an overview of our grazing system for cattle at Stonewall Farm and illustrate how well-managed grazing can be a tool to capture carbon and improve ecosystem processes on the land. We will learn about the mineral cycle, water cycle, community dynamics, and energy flow and learn how to make observations using our Ecological Outcome Verification, a feedback tool to help land managers identify and document improvements to the land. While walking the pastures we will look for and identify plants, insects, and animals that all add to the diversity and health of our pasture.
