Sheep Shearing & Wool Prep Day

Location: Stonewall Farm (Red Barn side of Chesterfield Rd.)
Looking for a fun way to spend Valentine’s morning? Come fall in love with farm life! Help us shear our adorable sheep and prepare their fluffy wool for spinning, all while enjoying the cozy vibes of Stonewall Farm.
What you’ll do:
- Help gently handle and care for the sheep during shearing
- Skirt and bag the freshly shorn wool (we will have rubber gloves available)
- Learn about wool processing and sustainable farming
- Bring home a small bag of unprocessed wool for your garden or home compost
Who should come: Everyone! No experience needed, we’ll show you the ropes. Perfect for couples, friends, or solo volunteers who love animals and getting their hands a little fuzzy!
Bonus: Hot Cocoa, sweet treats, and plenty of sheepy snuggles to get your heart racing.
