Community Night and Farm Market Series

Join us the 1st, 3rd and 4th Thursday of every month from 5:30 to 8 for our Community Night and Farm Market Series for live music, food vendors and lawn games.

Our Gelateria is open for the only place in town where you can buy freshly scooped artisan gelato. Our own organic and regeneratively grown produce is available for sale along with meats and products from other farms. Food vendors are on hand to make ready to eat meals as well.

Musicians vary by week. Bring a blanket and enjoy an evening at Stonewall Farm. There is no admission but donations to cover the band are greatly appreciated!

 

Thanksgiving Farm Fare

2019 Farm Fare will be held on Friday, November 22nd from 4 to 7 PM and Saturday, November 23rd from 9 AM to 3 PM.

Keep your Thanksgiving celebration local by shopping for everything you will need to make a deliciously memorable feast and more at Farm Fare, an event to be held at Stonewall Farm in Keene, NH on November 16th and 17th. Grace your table with items from area farms and specialty food producers who will be selling locally raised meats and produce, breads and stuffing mixes, berries, appetizers, wine and beer, desserts, condiments and rubs, and herbs.Farm Fare will also feature collections of crafts and other handmade items perfect to give as hostess gifts or to get a jump on other seasonal giving.

Stonewall Farm’s picturesque setting and beautiful timber frame facility offers a unique day of holiday shopping combined with an opportunity for outdoor exploration, all within a quaint New England setting sure to put visitors in the holiday spirit. Lunch and snacks will be available for purchase from vendors such as CC&D’s Kitchen Market! Hayrides on Saturday for $5 per person.

16th Annual Art Auction and Gala

Gala and Art Auction This year the Gala will take place on Saturday May 4th at 6:00 PM. All proceeds from the auction benefit Stonewall Farm’s mission. This fun and lively event includes delicious food, drinks and the chance to bid on art from some of the regions best artists. In addition to art, services are offered such a privately catered dinners and more as part of the live bidding. Bidding begins at 7:00 PM. The Art Exhibition is opening is on  April 12th at 5:00 PM 

Raffle Painting Prize, “Hens’ N Cihickens by Tin S. Gagnon. Raffle tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25 and all proceeds support Stonewall Farm’s educational mission. 

ARTSISTS! Stonewall Farm invites you to enter our 16th Annual Juried Art Opening and Auction. Please read the Call for Artists 2019 brochure that includes information on the Rules of Submission and Artists’ Compensation. Submissions will be accepted on March 15th and 16th. Pieces will be juried on March 17th.          

Dancing of the Ladies

 

Saturday, May 11th at 8:30 AM

Every year, around the beginning of May, when the pastures are ready for grazing, the cows are let out onto the fields after the long winter. Hundreds of spectators gather to watch the ladies dance as they leave the barn. The ladies kick up their heels dancing and prancing. After, everyone heads over to the Learning Center for a pancake breakfast. While you are here, check out our farm store stocked with product from our farms and other local farms and food producers.

Maple Madness: March 23rd 11-4
Join us for our celebration of all things maple! The sugarhouse will be hopping, Frisky Cow Gelato will be dishing up creamy, sweet goodness, Street & Savory will be here to keep you well fed, and there will be hay rides, crafts, bucket races and more! $20 per car with up to six (6) occupants and $5 for each additional person. Come learn why Sugaring Season is integral to New England’s agricultural fabric!

In addition to weddings, Stonewall Farm regularly hosts a variety of private events, such as corporate retreats, conferences, anniversary parties, proms, bar/bat mitzvahs, birthday parties, class reunions, memorial services, and company meetings.

Our main banquet room can accommodate small meetings of 5 people to large celebrations of 100. The banquet room features a working field-stone fireplace, beautiful post and beam architecture, and amazing views of the property. Additionally, we offer several different bar service options and friendly, professional bartenders to serve any type of event.

Celebrate in Nature

Stonewall Farm birthday parties are the perfect opportunity for your future farmer to celebrate at the farm! Each party includes a room rental and activities lead by one of our experienced educators!

 

Party details (applies to all parties, except Snowshoe adventure- see separate details):

  • Parties are available on Sundays from either 10:30-12:30 or 1:00-3:00
  • Cost: $250
  • Up to 15 children may participate
  • Includes 45 minutes with educator and all equipment necessary
  • Includes 1 hour 15 minutes in our program room
  • Includes tables and chairs
  • $10 for each additional child
  • $50 for each additional ½ hour of rental time
COWabunga Party!

Join us as we meet the sheep, goats, horses, and of course the cows! Kids will interact with the animals and even enjoy a milking demonstration. What better party favor than to milk a cow for the first time?

 

Seasonally Themed Children's Birthday Parties

SEASONAL PARTIES: Please call for availability

Wetland wonders (spring): In the spring our wetlands come to life with frogs, salamanders, invertebrates, and more! We will adventure out with buckets and nets to collect and identify these important creatures! Your child will be amazed at the life they can find at the farm!

Bug- Bonanza (Summer): Did you know 90% of bugs at Stonewall Farm do good deeds? They are called beneficial insects and they’re all around us! Join us for a bug scavenger hunt, a game of pollinator tag, and a worm excursion to learn more about the bugs at the farm and the jobs they do!

Cider and Stories (fall): Let’s work together to make fresh cider in our old fashioned cider press. We will walk you through the steps of how to make this sweet fall treat and then enjoy a cup as we read a fall-themed story. To wrap up we will explore the farm, looking for evidence of fall and the changes to come!

Snowshoe Surprise (winter): Stonewall farm has 120+ acres… Plenty of space to learn how to snowshoe! Let us take you on a snowshoe adventure! We can observe animal homes and tracks, and see many of the seasonal changes that animals are making to their lifestyle!

  • Cost: $300
    • Up to 12 children may participate
    • Includes one hour snowshoe tour with educator and all equipment
    • NOTE: May take ~15 minutes to fit snowshoes
    • Snowshoe parties are held 10:00-12:30 or 1:00-2:30
    • Includes ~1 hour and 15 minute program room rental
Hayride and Sleigh Ride Prices

Add a hayride or a sleigh ride (weather permitting) for an additional $100 per 45 minutes.   

  • Our hay wagon and sleigh will hold up to 12 people.
  • Our 2 seater sleigh ride is availabe at a rate of $100 per half hour.

Sleigh rides require at least a packed foot of snow to operate on our trails. All hay and sleigh rides are weather permitting. Email jdoyle@stonewallfarm.org to reserve your ride today. We are currently taking reservations for Saturdays only. At a later date we will be able to offer a wider range of days.
